Education & Professional History:
Graduated from Central Washington University in 1985 with a B.A. in Graphic
Art.
Freelancing since then, I first made myself useful as a pen and ink illustrator
and designer. Back when I bought my first computer (a top of the line Macintosh
SE) it was orginally to help with my layout and production work. However,
I quickly fell in love with it as an aristic tool. With the Beta release
of Adobe Illustrator, I found myself being known as a computer illustrator,
a relatively rare resource in those day. I absolutely loved it! To this
day Adobe Illustrator is still my primary program for creating the fantastic
images you will find at this website. The last few years some of my largest projects have been related to the Macromedia program Flash and the forms of animation it can provide as well as focusing more on my cartooning.
Graphic Artist Guild
I'm very proud to be a member of the Graphic
Artist Guild and can usually be seen at the SPGA/Seattle Chapter meetings (held
in Seattle). If you have a question about the SPGA/Seattle Chapter of the Graphic Artist Guild, please contact me.
Homestead:
Krista and I live at the
far base of Mt. Ranier in a wonderful Victorian house built in 1904. Our
large, wonderful yard is very fun to fill with plants. Our house is protected by a vicious cat. Well, she is more curious than vicious. We are fortunate to have terrific neighbors
who have become close friends. With them we share and exchange the fruits
of our gardens and also share many hobbies and interests.
Hobbies & Interests:
Krista and I both enjoy gardening, biking, camping, traveling, movies and long
walks together. Then there are those fun little hobbies
for rainy days like reading and drawing. I also try to keep the records for the family tree.
